2 months agoMy daughter Lisa and her now husband, James, chose Dundas Castle as their wedding venue. They fell in love immediately when they visited to view the castle! The castle provided such a stunning location with so much character for their wedding photos. Aileen, the sales event manager, was so helpful and friendly, guiding them through all the event planning (in 4 months!) We arrived on the Friday lunchtime and staff were waiting to help us all to our rooms. All the rooms are beautifully and individually decorated. Staff were all keen and willing to help us with all the detailed prep of the ceremony room chairs, and flowers/bud vases for the stag chamber, setting up welcome signs etc. Nothing was too much bother for them. On the wedding day, the large staff team were so professional, ensuring the seamless flow to the wedding celebrations of Lisa and James. The staff were all so lovely and nothing was too much bother. Staff were all great at keeping us informed and guiding us in the run up to and through the day of the wedding. The wedding breakfast was outstanding and went so smoothly, with staff knowing the seating plan to allow seamless serving. The venue was stunning and our guests were all complementary of that, along with the delicious food. Robbie Wisniewski (acoustic guitarist) did an excellent job in entertaining us all in the evening and was just the perfect act for the occasion. We will have so many happy memories of our weekend.
