2 weeks agoThe walk along the Tweed from Peebles has great views of the castle and the river. I recommend taking a tour of the castle. Rachel the guide is really knowledgeable. The views from the castle are amazing and the interior in full of interest. No one lives in the castle but it is possible to rent as holiday accommodation or as a wedding venue. The living apartment and bedroom are cosy and romantic. It sleeps 2. It is rumoured to be haunted though..... There is a modern bathroom and kitchen but you might like to hire the outside catering .

3 weeks agoI recently photographed wedding at Neidpath Castle, and I was genuinely so impressed. We travel all over UK and this venue really stands out. From the moment I arrived, the level of hospitality and teamwork stood out. Everything felt calm, well organised, and really thoughtfully run, which makes such a difference on a wedding day. You can tell the team truly care about the experience they create. Teamwork really stud out especially within all supliers involved and the venue team none of us worked together before but with venue team it felt like one big team there for the couple. Amazing! The venue itself is absolutely beautiful, full of character and atmosphere.I especially loved the bridal room upstairs, such a lovely space to get ready in, there is also cottage for other half to get ready too which is fabulous to have on site. The ceremony room is just stunning. It all flows so naturally. A truly fabulous place, and one I would highly recommend. Janina/Reportage Studios

3 weeks agoUnfortunately, as I'm in a wheelchair, we could only access the grounds. But what a scenic location. Beautiful!
