Auchen Castle

We got married at Auchen Castle 17th July 2026. WOW !! We are so impressed with everything, from the professionalism, food, staff and service we could not fault anything. Our family believes it was the best wedding they have ever been too - high praise indeed. Lynne our wedding planner was exceptional, no question too silly, kept the wedding day flowing seamlessly, and kept my nerves calm !! If you are thinking about a magical, romantic venue then don’t look any further. Everything we planned was done remotely and my husband and I can’t thank the whole team at Auchen Castle for such valuable memories.

We were Married here 4/28/2026. We came from America so we did not have a chance to check everything out before hand. We also stayed the night before the wedding. I can definitely say we did not want for ANYTHING. They knew exactly what they were doing and did it well. I seriously felt like we were special and the only guests they ever had!!! I know they do this daily and have served over thousands of people, so to keep that magical spark is a miracle. Never felt like a burden or inconvenience. Staff are beyond beyond beyond incredible. Don’t even get me started on the food…WOW!!!! Our family fell in love with the service staff and talk about them still. This venue and experience changed many of our guests lives as most of them don’t get to travel much, and they made a trip out of this for our wedding. It was the most fairy tale magical experience. Grounds are beautiful, immaculate. I just want all of the staff to know, I can’t imagine how much work goes into each event. For us it went beyond just enjoying an experience. The staff made a difference in all of our lives for us feeling like they were part of the Wedding and added such positivity to our travel memories. Thank you all so so much, and just know that everything you are doing really has a positive impact that sticks with people forever!!!

Absolutely amazing place. The venue was perfect for our large group destination wedding. Our room was huge and overlooked the loch on site. Staff was superb while providing for all the guests. Food and drinks were always on time and very good. A couple hours drive out of Edinburgh, but definitely worth the trip. Incredible weekend!

We had our wedding at Auchen a couple of weeks ago and we cannot recommend it enough! The staff were incredible and so attentive, even our guests made comments at how accommodating and helpful/friendly the they were! All throughout the process, they have communicated so well with us, even with the small questions. They kept us both feeling at ease and we knew everything was in-hand which led to an stress-free day! Special shout out to Lynne and Sarah for all your help throughout, we couldn’t have done it without you both!! The food was also really great! Char & Ross
