Ashton Gardens | Corinth

My husband and I celebrated our wedding here a couple weeks ago and it was an absolute dream. The venue is stunning and very spacious. We had 130 guests, but the chapel and reception ballroom had the capacity for many more people. The planning team at Ashton Gardens is very communicative, friendly, and organized. I specifically want to give a shout out to Becca, who served as our day-of coordinator and who held many planning meetings with us. Our entire wedding day went perfectly, thanks in large part to Becca’s hard work, diligence, and attention to detail. She treated us like friends and made our day feel extra special. Catering and bar services were provided by the venue’s parent company, Walters Wedding Estates. There were several open bar packages to choose from and a wide variety of cuisines offered, especially among the buffet options. We were very happy with the quantity and quality of food and drinks that were provided. As part of our venue rental, we agreed to spend a certain amount of money with Walters Wedding Estates’ vendors. We ended up booking their DJ (CoHost Entertainment), florist (The Design Haus), and photographer (Emily Chappell Productions) and had wonderful experiences with all of them. We couldn’t have asked for a better venue or a better team of vendors!

Ashton Gardens is a beautiful venue, and despite the concerns below, we truly had a wonderful wedding day surrounded by family and friends. I also want to recognize Raven, who was calm, kind, and incredibly helpful on the wedding day itself. Several family members commented on her positive attitude, and she did a wonderful job helping keep the day running smoothly. Unfortunately, the planning experience and post-wedding customer service left us unable to recommend the venue. Our biggest disappointment was paying for services that were never delivered. We purchased an upgraded bar package that included signature cocktails and customized beer selections, yet neither was provided. After bringing this to the venue's attention, we were told a planning sheet had not been completed. However, we completed every planning document we were given, and if anything was missing, it was never communicated to us despite multiple planning meetings and repeatedly asking if there was anything else needed before the wedding. We also never received a response to our follow-up questions regarding this issue. There were several other planning details that were missed despite being discussed multiple times, including a tip jar being displayed at the bar after we specifically requested that it not be, no designated gift/card area, only two of the three flower girl baskets we paid for being provided, and our photo booth monogram never being completed because we were never informed additional information was needed. Communication throughout planning was frustrating. We often had to follow up ourselves after being told someone would get back to us, yet when the venue finally reached out, we were expected to respond within 24 hours due to "time constraints." Charges were also processed without advance notice, and we were only informed after our account had already been charged. The in-house BBQ also did not meet our expectations. We were thankful we supplemented the meal with our own catered Cameroonian food, which ended up being the more popular option among our guests. Most disappointing was the lack of follow-up after the wedding. We attempted to resolve these concerns privately before posting publicly, but after responding to the venue's explanation, our emails went unanswered. I also reached out regarding our unity candle set that was left behind after the ceremony and never received a response. No wedding is perfect, but we expected clear communication, attention to detail, accountability when mistakes occurred, and delivery of the services we paid for. Unfortunately, our experience fell short in those areas. My advice to future couples is to document every request in writing and verify every detail yourself rather than assuming discussed items will automatically be implemented.

Ashton Gardens- Corinth was absolutely everything we could have ever imagined or dreamed. From start to finish we were more than pleased with the quality of service and attention to detail. Raven, our wedding coordinator was beyond phenomenal. We could not have asked for anyone better to work alongside us to make sure that our wedding day was ALL that we wanted. The level of support, encouragement, organization, punctuality, and consistent communication showed us that she genuinely cared about our experience. When I say she went above and beyond, there are truly not enough words to capture our love for her. This venue is also perfect. Our family and friends loved the chapel and reception space. Working with the Olana Design Center was also seamless in coordinating all of our wedding day details. Our wedding day was absolutely perfect and we credit this team for making it all possible. We highly recommend this venue to future couples!

The perimeter landscaping needs to be cleaned up!
