a week agoWe stayed at Gilmerton House for our wedding weekend, and what a venue! The house and grounds are absolutely stunning. We got married in the Music Room (84 guests) and had our meal in the Laundry House. Graham was on hand for any questions we had before and throughout our stay. The exclusive caterers (The Edinburgh Catering Company) were excellent throughout the weekend too. The rooms and amenities are kept to such a high standard. We stayed from the Friday to the Monday which was such a treat to have a full day with the guests that stayed in the house to de-brief post-wedding. The best weekend of our lives! Thank you Gilmerton House team!

a month agoGilmerton House is an absolutely stunning place. We had it for our wedding. Firstly, the rooms all have their own character, but they're all extremely comfortable, spacious, and luxurious, including the two cottages. There are a few different areas to the house, including living spaces inside and the lawn, the beautiful Laundry house, and the rest of the grounds, so you can have a large group of people around and it doesn't feel crowded. In spring, the gardens are really lovely and peaceful. In particular, I'd like to thank Graham, who manages the house, for being incredibly helpful and friendly throughout the build-up to the wedding, and on the weekend. He's a fantastic person to deal with and was a really big part of what made our weekend such a success. Highly recommend Gilmerton House!
