2 weeks agoFantastic stories, wonderful decent knowledge, interesting pictures, architecture, and gardens. Why only 4, not 5 stars? I took 2 elderly relatives (79, 88) in a comfortable Jeep hire-car. The drive to the house is unmetaled. I drove slowly to reduce the bounce as I steered between the potholes. But the ride can be a little painful for elderly bones. Once in the house I was impressed by the number of chairs in some rooms where elderly people could sit, but the tour was full and some places, like the stairwell, there was nowhere for people to sit. My elders found the standing a bit too stressful. Most of the tour looked were over 60 years. The place and people are great, the standing time, in one place, was too much
