Newhall Estate

We got married at Newhall in May 2026. Newhall is a stunning venue and the staff are amazing. Newhall is definitely a hidden gem. The venue is beautiful. There are a choice of event spaces which are all lovely and they all offer different things. The house is also an excellent place to stay with your friends and family which extends your wedding weekend which we found very special! The grounds are also amazing which is lovely for photos. This sentiment was echoed by all of our guests. The Newhall staff are all amazing and look to make sure your day goes smoothly! They worked through all of our planning to help make the day we wanted all come together. They were always there to help us do anything we needed or to make sure everyone knew where/when things were happening. On our wedding day there was no running around for us and we could enjoy our day! All of our guests commented on the lovely helpful staff too. The whole weekend format that Newhall takes is excellent! Our wedding day passed so quickly which made staying with our close family and friends over the weekend extra special. It allowed us the time to see them all properly. The Friday was lovely to come in and setup all of our decorations and see that the venue is setup the way we wanted for the big day! We can’t recommend Newhall enough! It is a very special venue.

We had our wedding at Newhall in April 2026 - it could not have gone more smoothly, mostly down to the superb staff at Newhall. The venue speaks for itself, but the staff are the added bonus. They worked with us to create and facilitate the day we wanted. Thank you to Jak, Yvonne, Richard, Richard and the housekeeping team who all had a part to play. A special thanks must go to Saskia who was our main point of contact and was absolutely brilliant throughout the planning and the day itself. There truly aren’t enough words — or stars to rate — to express just how unbelievably perfect Newhall Estate is. It was the first wedding venue we saw, and from the very first moment, we instantly knew it was the one. We didn’t feel the need to look anywhere else. It has absolutely everything you could ever want for a special occasion and more. What first captured us was how immaculate everything was, and somehow, every time we returned, it only became even more beautiful. The care and continuous improvements made it feel even more special with each visit. As stunning as the venue is, what truly makes Newhall Estate so exceptional is the incredible team behind it. A very special thank you to Yvonne for her constant support and amazing communication throughout our 3 years of planning — she made everything feel so easy and reassuring. And to Saskia, who led our day so effortlessly, ensuring everything ran perfectly and allowed us to fully relax and enjoy every moment. No question was ever too small, and no request was ever too much. Our guests absolutely loved staying for the weekend, and it made the whole experience feel even more meaningful and unforgettable. Being able to spend that extended time together in such a beautiful setting is something we will cherish forever. Superb! The estate is a gorgeous, historic venue. As father-of-the bride, I was delighted by the impeccable accommodations and the exceptional staff. My compliments to Saskia and the staff who made the wedding an enchanting affair!

We had our wedding at Newhall in September and it was absolutely magical. Newhall offers something truly unique compared to other venues in Scotland — the grounds are spectacular, the house feels like the most perfect oversized luxurious Airbnb, and the variety of event spaces means you can be incredibly creative in shaping your wedding weekend. Having the venue for the whole weekend was such a gift. It let us extend the celebrations and really enjoy the estate to the fullest. We held our ceremony in the granary, had our drinks reception and cocktail hour with live music and espresso martinis in the sunroom, dinner and ceilidh in the coach house, and ended the night with a disco back in the granary. On the Friday, we hosted a beautiful intimate rehearsal dinner in the sunroom with our closest friends and family, and on Sunday we had a relaxed, fun-filled day playing capture the flag and even a game of The Traitors in the house! If any of that sounds like your idea of a good time, we couldn’t recommend Newhall highly enough as the most special setting for a wedding weekend — one that gives you memories to last a lifetime. Jak and the team were brilliant throughout the whole journey: always on hand, happy to answer any question (big or small!), open to every idea, and bringing a wonderfully relaxed, friendly approach to the entire experience. We truly couldn’t recommend Newhall enough.
