a month agoThe Hub stands out on Edinburgh's skyline, with its impressive 72-meter-high spire, the tallest in the city. This neo-Gothic building, constructed in the 19th century, is now a multifunctional events center and home to the Edinburgh International Festival. An events center? But it looks like a church! That's because it was originally built between 1843 and 1845 as the Highland Tolbooth Kirk, but it never actually functioned as a traditional parish church.
